ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK I acknowledge that participation in polo and related equestrian activities involves inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to: falls from horses; collisions with horses, riders, mallets, balls, or obstacles; failure of equipment; and the unpredictable nature and behavior of horses. These risks may result in serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or death. I fully understand and voluntarily accept all such risks. ⸻ 2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with my participation in polo and related activities at Temecula Polo Club, including risks arising from the negligence of others. ⸻ 3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY In consideration of being permitted to participate in activities at Temecula Polo Club, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Temecula Polo Club, its owners, officers, directors, employees, instructors, agents, volunteers, sponsors, landowners, and affiliated entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages arising out of or related to my participation, including those caused by the negligence of the Released Parties. ⸻ 4. INDEMNIFICATION I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to my participation in polo or equestrian activities. ⸻ 5. MEDICAL CONSENT In the event of injury, illness, or emergency, I authorize Temecula Polo Club and its representatives to obtain medical treatment for me, including transportation and emergency services if necessary. EQUIPMENT AND HORSE SAFETY I acknowledge that I am responsible for using appropriate safety equipment, including a properly fitted helmet, and for ensuring that any horse I ride is suitable for my level of experience.
